We're doing our part in a small way to reduce our carbon footprint by replacing our old drafty entry doors with new energy efficient ones. Not only that but they look better.
While we were in a remodeling mood, we decided to take out the wall between the dining room and the pantry to make it a little more roomy back there. As is usually the case with these projects, it turns out to be a lot more work than is initially anticipated. New flooring, ceiling, drywall work, and lighting means a lot of work. But it's going well and I should be able to finish it up this week while I'm on vacation.
