Sonya and I attended Grant's first track meet of the season last night at Canal Winchester. 6 weeks ago we would have been expecting to be sitting in the bleachers somewhere watching a baseball game. At some point during the long winter he decided on track instead. I think, after watching his first meet, he made a wise decision! He competed in the high jump, the 4x800 meter relay, the 300 meter hurdles, and the 4x400 meter relay. He placed 2nd in the high jump and had very respectable finishes in all his other events. And best of all, he said he had fun!
