XC Season Gets Under Way

The 2010 edition of the Liberty Union Lions Boys Cross Country team started their season in good fashion this morning at the Newark Catholic Invitational held at the Bryn Du Mansion in Granville. They turned in a 2nd place performance behind div. 1 Watkins Memorial. Aaorn Burnside, seen here warming up with Grant, finished 3rd place over all and lead the Lions with a very fast 17:14 over the 3.1 mile course. Grant hit his goal of being under 22 minutes, finishing with a 21:59. Great job boys!
